
At the May 17, 2004 Stated and Corporation Meetings, the Membership elected the following new Presiding Officers for 2004-2005:
John B. Hall, 33° is the Commander-In-Chief of Peoria Consistory:
G. Nick Graff is the Most Wise Master of Peora Chapter of Rose Croix:
P. Michael Nuske is the Sovereign Prince of the Peoria Council of Princes of Jerusalem:
Mark Welch is the Thrice Potent Master of
the Central City Lodge of Perfection:
Alex Lambie, outgoing Sovereign Prince, was elected to a three-year “at large” term to the Board of the Scottish Rite Cathedral Association. Alex was also elected President of the Board at the subsequent reorganization meeting.
Alex is the Chief of Police of North Pekin.
Robert L Cook, M.S.A, and Richard Hummel, MSA continue as the other “at large” members.
The Valley of Peoria Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite held an honors reception on June 27 to recognize and present scholarships to fifty-seven area students. Each of the scholarships was for a thousand or more dollars. Twenty-six of the recipients were past winners and are continuing their scholarships. An additional thirty-one were first time awards selected from over 160 new applications, distributed through Masonic Lodges, high schools and college counselors as well as through the hospital nursing programs. See page 13 for more information and a list of the recipients.
